I produced, recorded, and scripted a full episode for America’s Test Kitchen’s “Proof” podcast. It covered nonprofit No Us Without You’s work in providing food security for undocumented restaurant workers during the pandemic. It was released on May 27, 2021.

Speaking engagement

I moderated a panel for USC’s Visions and Voices on the topic of “Sweet and Salty: A Conversation with Asian American Women Chefs.” It was a wide-ranging food conversation with L.A.-based chefs Cecilia Leung, Isa Fabro, and Sonoko Sakai. In addition to discussing the cross-cultural aspects of culinary culture, we discussed the impact of cooking on identity and memory. It was recorded on September 1, 2020.
